Florida is known for its laidback lifestyle and simple pleasures (most revolving around the sea!) and our Siesta Heron Antigua escape reflects this magical vibe. Offering just one spacious bedroom and one modern bath, it is an ideal spot for intimate getaways or vacations with families that are small and close; up to four people can sleep under this roof comfortably. Sharing a pool with other similar properties, this charming cottage is located just off the shores of Herron Lagoon, but is also only a mile away from Turtle Beach, one of Siesta Key’s most popular white sand beaches.

Outside the unit you will find a small table and four chairs, perhaps offering an idyllic spot to enjoy your morning coffee, and as the door to Antigua opens, your tranquil Florida vacation begins, revealing a charming open concept floor plan, a wood floor creates a pathway to wonderful, starting with the main living area. A chocolate hued leather sofa opens up into a queen sleeper and faces a 40-inch flat screen television with HD programming. Walls painted a light mossy green provide a beautiful backdrop to sea themed art including the colorful painting of herons in flight that perches over the sofa and an oversized coffee table can be used for playing board games or devouring meals made in the spacious and modern kitchen that anchors the space.

Stainless steel appliances provide a modern convenience in the spacious kitchen located just off the living space. Seating at a granite breakfast bar offers the perfect spot for young lovers to enjoy their morning cereal together and a coffee maker on the counter, as well as a tea kettle on the gas range, ensures everyone will start out every day well caffeinated.

The private bedroom is bright and cheerful, anchored by a comfy king bed topped with a premium mattress and a brightly hued comforter. Extra lighting in the form of lamps placed on the coral red side tables on either side of the bed allows for night time reading as guests prop themselves up against the large white painted headboard. 

In the sole bathroom, the tub shower combo features glass doors and a tiled niche perfect for holding your shampoo, conditioner, and bath gels. Fluffy white towels will feel soft against your skin, even when sunburned, because we at RentTheKeys understand the importance of these smaller details.

Outside, the pool is shared with the other units on the property, offering beach umbrellas on its Baja shelf. Gas grills are located at various spots around the community and a large deck that overlooks Herron Lagoon offers the perfect spot to sunbathe on a warm and sunny day. Beach cruisers and beach gear are available for use by guests and Antigua’s location allows guests to play at the beach, shop, or dine at local restaurants without having to spend a lot of time commuting; free ride services on the island (tipping IS expected however) can help travelers stay within their budget. A coin operated laundry room completes the tour of Antigua.
