Florida vacations are so much fun that everyone wants to come along, and when our Edgemere home is chosen, everyone CAN join in the excitement! Offering 4 farmhouse style bedrooms, 3 spacious baths with a spa-like feel, and space for up to 10 guests to relax and enjoy, this family home also accepts two of your precious pooches for an additional fee. The exterior this mint-colored home that backs up to a canal serves up a taste of vintage Florida, but the inside offers farmhouse style and comfortable luxury and is sure to be an integral part of the vacation experience.

French doors painted black swing open to reveal a straight shot to the backyard oasis, but for now we are going to stick to the inside of this charming home. Hang your backpack on the hooks we have placed for you on the wall by the door and head towards the great room space that never fails to wow. The living room is bright and open to the rest of the room, offering a supremely comfortable microfiber sectional placed to fully appreciate the action on the state of the art television and the beauty of the yard visible through an incredible wall of windows just beyond.

The kitchen features farmhouse style custom cabinetry painted a crisp white, granite countertops and backsplash, and updated appliances for your cooking pleasures. A center island doubles as a breakfast bar, offering overflow seating for four on saddle style bar stools and small appliances on the counters will ensure that your caffeine needs are all met.

The dining room is as close to being outside without actually feeling the ocean breezes on your skin with its table that seats six placed directly in front of the wall of windows, one segment which just happens to be sliding glass doors. Open the doors and let the outside in as you dine or play games and try not to be too distracted by the tropical views found here.

Our Edgemere home is a large one and although it really doesn’t have any secrets an occasional surprise pops up every so often, starting with the quiet family room in the back of the house. Offering a retro style sofa covered in floral prints facing a fireplace that comes in handy during the cooler days of winter, this cozy room is a great place to hang out in when the world gets too people-y. 

The king bed in the master suite almost gets lost in all its space, but its comfort can never be overlooked. Sleep late into the day after staying up late the night before watching the television that hangs on the wall opposite the big bed or grab that New York Times bestseller you have toted cross country and lose yourself in the story on the velvety chaise that sits near the sliding glass doors that lead out to the deck. The en suite bathroom is a handsome space, filled with solid furnishings that serve as bathroom furniture, including a dual sink vanity in dark mahogany and a rustic armoire that holds bath towels and supplies. A jetted tub is destined to become travelers favorite retreat and copper and bronze fixtures give the room a farmhouse charm that is repeated throughout the house. A walk-in shower features modern tile work and a clever niche to hold your shampoo and bath gels.

Guest bedroom two celebrates happy dreams with its light wood framed king bed, plantation shuttered windows, and its own private bath. A tub/shower combo, single vanity, and updated fixtures add charm and style to the space.

Two queen beds fit nicely in the spacious confines of guest bedroom three, which offers shuttered windows that open into the sun to allow occupants to enjoy the lush landscaping just outside. A state-of-the-art television rests on the heavy wood dresser and this room shares bathroom access with guest bedroom four. A walk-in shower, single vanity, and nickel fixtures make this bath extra special.

The final bedroom is a serene space decorated all in white and offering a plush queen bed for your sleeping pleasures. Pastel hued signs remind guests that the beach is just a few minutes away and a line of bluebirds adorning the crisp white shams on the bed serve as another reminder that happiness can be found right here at Edgemere.

Now it is time to wander out to the backyard of this charming home, a space that will make you believe that all dreams can come true. Featuring a screened-in and shaded porch with a faux wicker sectional, outdoor patio table and chairs, wet bar, and ceiling fans that will be much appreciated during the hotter months, this functional and comfortable space is just the start. A cobblestoned deck and six chaise lounges surround a crystal clear pool that is the most popular spot on the property. A private dock offers a boat lift for rental boats or two red canoes are provided with the property for guests to use and cushioned chairs are placed on the dock, offering a serenely tranquil spot to sit and relax at the end of every day. 

MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENTS: One month minimum with the exception of 2 week reservations a maximum of 30-days in advance.

Boating: Enjoy this waterfront property to the fullest! Rent this home for May 2024 and get a day out on the water on a 2023 Sea Ray 350 SLX. This includes 4-hours of boat use, each additional hour is $125. A list of captains will be provided and guest must pay the captain directly (rates are $80/hour). Guest will need to pay for fuel (A typical day out will cost approx. $50 - $250).
